The Boys & Girls Club of Greater Baton Rouge provides nearly 1,800 children and teens who need a safe place to go, ongoing relationships with caring adults, and life enhancing programs and experiences that build strong character and leadership qualities.

We help them stay safe when they need it most – after school and during the summer – and where they need it most – in communities with prevalent crime, poverty, and substance abuse. We give hope and opportunity.

We serve children and teens ages 6 to 18 in our Clubs. Our programs help youth develop into responsible citizens by providing real skills, igniting passions, and inspiring confidence about their future. They focus on 5 core program areas: Arts, Education, Leadership, Life Skills, and Sports, Fitness & Recreation. We also run summer enrichment programs for our Club members.

The Club leverages the expertise and resources of other organizations to broaden our reach and deepen our impact. Our reputation for exceptional program delivery has, in turn, made us a sought-after partner for organizations seeking to provide beneficial programs or services to children and teens.
