Become a Volunteer!
Volunteers make a tremendous difference in the lives of youth at the Boys & Girls Club and are vital to the success of our programs and special events. We now have three ways for volunteers to get involved.

1) Club Program Volunteers play a crucial role in our day-to-day Club activities by helping full-time staff in a variety of ways including coaching, tutoring, or leading specific programs.

2) Special Events Volunteers are critical to the success of the Club’s special events and fundraising events. These volunteers will be asked to use their talents and skills in planning a successful event that highlights the work of the Boys & Girls Club.

3) AmeriCorps Volunteers work with the staff to help implement the programs and services for our Club members. AmeriCorps Members receive a living allowance and an educational award.

4 ) Community Service or School Requirments are weclome at the Club. The Director of Volunteer Serives will help make your service a meaningful experince for you.

All Club Program Volunteers will be asked to:

Complete a volunteer application
Attend a comprehensive volunteer orientation
Pass a background check to ensure volunteer suitability

If your company or organization would like to schedule a large group project, please allow at least three weeks notice between contacting us and the scheduled date for your project so that we are able to find the best Club for you. Contact Onya Carter to learn more.
